One of the biggest mistakes many games make is flooding the economy with money.

When everyone becomes rich, wealth stops being meaningful.

This week I started mapping out Firetorn's economic structure and identifying money sinks that can help maintain balance over time.

Vehicles, travel, businesses, property ownership, and future systems may all play a role.

The goal is to create an economy where players always have meaningful goals to pursue.

It is still very early in development, but these decisions will influence nearly every system moving forward.
