Dev Log #021 — The Admin Tools Problem

One part of development that is easy to overlook is administration.

Players see crimes, vehicles, travel, and profiles.

Administrators need tools that keep the game stable, fair, and manageable.

This week I began thinking seriously about admin systems.

Moderation tools, user lookup, diagnostics, content editing, audit logs, and configuration controls will all matter over time.

A game like Firetorn cannot rely on manually editing the database every time something needs adjusted.

Good admin tools may not be glamorous, but they are essential if the game is going to survive after launch.
